Happy New Year

Here’s to wishing you a Happy New Year in such a way that you can actually have a Happy 2017…

H – He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you, But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

A – A soft answer turns away wrath, But a harsh word stirs up anger. (Proverbs 15:1)

P – Pride goes before destruction, And a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18)

E – Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. (Psalms 100:4)

W – Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. (Colossians 4:5)

Y – Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ (Philippians 3:8)

E – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17)

A – And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, (Colossians 3:23)

R – Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 4:4)
