Now what…

The election is finally over. Some are satisfied. Many are dissatisfied. So now what?

I pray that we, the true children of God, would be truly rooted and grounded in God’s word. It’s not just the “who” we support or voted for, but “how” we treat those on the opposite side. Politics does not give us a vacation from our witness. We need to consciously live our lives in the manner God would have us to live, especially with those who do not agree with us.  Continue reading “Now what…”

Thank You!

“Thank You! And keep praying!” Those were the words from my chiropractor to my new BSF small group, a bunch of prayer warriors.

The alarm went off this morning and I snoozed it. And then snoozed it again. Today was going to be another difficult day. My body gave out after Bible study, and I’d only gotten about ninety minutes of sleep last night. And to top it all off, today third grade was going on a field trip to the zoo. To the zoo. Sure, the students would attend a couple half hour classes, but everybody knows that any field trip to the zoo means walking and lots of it.
